Best Western Albany Motel & Apartments is located in the heart of Albany, a charming, coastal town, of great historical significance. South of Perth, in the Great Southern, this old Port town was one of WA’s earliest settlements and once a famous whaling station. Today the whales are of course protected, but still provide an industry as a major tourist attraction. Tourists also come to see the giant karri forests; visit the wild, rugged beaches, and sample the wines and other gastronomical delights of the region.
Our motel accommodation is in the very centre of town, on the corner of Frederick Street and Spencer Street. It is just a 200 metre stroll to York Street, with its popular restaurants, cafes and shops, and only 300 metres to the new harbour development and fabulous Entertainment Centre. The historical precinct is also nearby. Skippers take a rest.
The Perth to Albany drive is 400kms, which takes approximately four hours, passing through picturesque and scenic country, farmlands, and small rural towns on the Albany Highway.
The motel accommodation is 10km from Albany Airport. It is only a few minutes’ walk from the Visitor Centre and main TransWA bus terminal.
Everything is completely central and easily accessible, you can just relax and enjoy.
